Hello PHM North America 2026 Data Challenge Organizing Team,

I have a question regarding the release of the validation data.

Will a complete package of sensor data be released (e.g., Run 1 through Run 10), just with the individual runs being unlabeled and lacking timestamps? Meaning participants will need to sort them and subsequently provide a wear value for each run, similar to the test data?

Addendum:

The real question is: Do the runs need to be sorted separately, or are they organized similarly to the test data—so that the participants already know which run comes next? Run 1 = new, last run = defective?

Hi Team ReichWiens,

The validation data will look exactly like the Test data. You won’t have to sort it.
